Dania Fallas is your host in Guanacaste. With a career as an Executive Chef in some of Costa Rica’s top restaurants, Dania's culinary mastery is unmatched. Her expertise in local ingredients shines through in her seasonally inspired menus, where she skillfully marries traditional flavors with modern techniques. Dania is our hospitality lead in Costa Rica and she shines in providing our guests an experience that feels both luxurious and authentically rooted in the culture of Costa Rica.

Desiree is the life force behind Ralia's team and community, bringing a holistic, people-first vision to everything she touches. As Head of Operations, she oversees event sales, company culture, and community building. Her expertise in marketing and relationship building drives Ralia's sustainable approach to real estate development, rooted in care for the planet and people.

A native of Guanacaste, Marian’s deep connection to the land ensures you’ll feel right at home. With her wealth of local knowledge, she curates personalized experiences that blend wellness with the region's vibrant culture. Whether you're seeking adventure or tranquility, Marian is here to guide you to the hidden gems and unique activities that will make your stay unforgettable.

Oyebola Ayeni brings her zest for life and laughter to La Maison Ralia every day as she is one of our main eco-cleaners and whom we affectionately call our building mama. She makes sure everything is working and set up to perfection! Her creative background in fashion, modelling, and her caring personality can be seen and felt everywhere she goes. Rowena Bonyad manages the financial health of our growing business. Her diverse background in hospitality, health and wellness as a yoga and mediation instructor and her love of people make her the perfect Ralia team member. She is growing our regenerative wellness program and leading the way in AI integration in hospitality management.
Meet our Activators
Every room at La Maison Ralia carries a Montrealer's name.
A real person, a real practice, a real piece of this city, each one woven into the room so guests don't just stay in our hotel, they meet Montreal through it.
That is the Activator Program. Each of our ten rooms was designed by Florence Charron of Indee Design and then handed to a local Activator, a Montreal artist, healer, designer, stylist, or storyteller who walked their own Human Design journey to arrive at the decisions they made for the space. The art on the wall, the books on the shelf, the scent in the air, the prompt by the bed, all chosen by someone whose work you can follow, visit, book, or fall in love with after you leave.

Joëlle Martina loves moving between worlds from dance to sports, from fashion to art, parenting to solo travel, they all feed her need to connect with people from all ages. Speaking to one another is an art form in which she is very fluent. She loves designing conversations that foster openness and facilitate integration. She works with students, athletes, schools, families and companies, bringing them together "just to talk", fostering impact in every community she is part of.

Margaret Lipsey is a Montreal-based abstract artist, Human Design Consultant, and Reiki Grand Master whose work bridges energy, emotion, and form. Her creative journey began in the culinary arts, where years as a professional chef honed her sensitivity to rhythm, color, and sensory intelligence, skills that would later translate to the canvas.

Olivia is a Montreal hair stylist with a studio right next door to the Connections building on bustling St-Laurent, and she’s every bit as vibrant as the neighbourhood she works in.
