Your questions about our event venue, answered

How many hours do I need to rent the space for my event?

We offer AM or PM event support. An evening event includes 6 hours of access and a morning event includes 4 hours of access automatically. Depending on the type of event you are creating you may need more hours. We can accommodate most requests during your planning call.

What is included in my rental of the space?

We include A LOT! Furniture of all kinds is included to turn the space into your dream private restaurant. Top tier audio visual equipment for presenting, creating unique soundscapes, playing your own playlists (you may be your own DJ). We include hand held microphones for presenting and lapel microphones for recording content. We include a venue manager for the evening who becomes your fave support person to make the event really sing. We include all our glasses, dishes, and kitchen space for a small fee of the dishwasher (you will love having someone quickly and quietly taking care of all the dishes!). And we also freely include support to find the very best suppliers for your event- from DJ’s to Catering to Photographers… our list of pros runs deep.

Are we able to come and tour the space before our event?

Yes. Simply book a time to tour our beautiful Montreal event space and we will be happy to help you with imagining the floor plan setup of dreams.

Do you supply the caterers or can we bring our own?

Both. We work with caterers we love and we are open to working with your beloved catering company as well. If you are a caterer reach out to us and let us know if you are interested in getting on our recommendation list.

Can I bring my own food should I not choose to hire a caterer?

Yes. This is a great option to make your event really budget friendly!

Who is responsible for communicating with the kitchen and service staff?

Our team handles most of the communication with the kitchen and service staff to ensure your event runs smoothly. Everything from delivery to setup to equipment usage needs to be coordinated and we make sure our space delivers the perfectly every time.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

No. We hold a full bar permit with the Quebec government which restricts alcohol purchases and consumption on premise. All alcohol must be purchased for consumption on site and according to the permit we hold. No outside alcohol, even if it is not consumed on site, is allowed in the premises.

How many people can you sit comfortably for a sit down dinner?

We recommend a sit-down dinner that is not greater than 65 people. The full capacity for is 100, however, we reserve this type of event for standing events.

Can I have a band or a DJ?

Absolutely. We often have events with DJ’s and they love that we are plug and play into our surround sound system - they do not need to bring any speakers, and in fact, we discourage bringing speakers on site. Bands are welcome as well, but keep in mind how much event space the band takes up so it does not take away from the guest space for mingling, eating, or dancing.

Can we come in early to drop off food and decorations?

This part is tricky as we may have an event before your event. We accommodate your needs the best we can. And, if on-site storage is a must, sometimes our hosts rent a hotel room above the event space.

Can we make our own playlists or slideshows to show throughout the evening?

100%! We often have events with custom projections on the wall and custom playlists. We even support you with the technical ability to run the slideshow or playlist so you can enjoy being host.
